Research Study Evaluating a Weekly Investigational Medication for Weight Management in Adults with Obesity

About The Study

Do you have obesity, with or without Type 2 Diabetes?

You may qualify for a research study evaluating an investigational medication for weight management.

This study is designed to understand how well and how safely two doses of CagriSema help people manage their weight when combined with a lower calorie diet and increased physical activity.

Participants will receive a weekly dose of either the study medication or a comparator medication (Semaglutide). Visits include a combination of in-person and phone appointments.

To take part in the study, participants should:

  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Have a BMI of 35 or greater
  • Have a desire to lose at least 25% of body weight
  • Have an A1c of less than 10.0%
  • Be willing and able to perform all study tasks and visits

What Is a Study?

  • A clinical study helps advance the future of diabetes! Research patients try new meds or devices not yet available to the public, at no cost to them.
  • Research patients meet with a study coordinator and doctor multiple times to monitor them.
  • Each visit, patients are compensated for travel expenses.
  • Study patients must meet a list of criteria in order to be a part of a study.
  • A study can last anywhere from six months to a few years.
