Evaluate effectiveness of ReCET™ device for improving blood sugar control in individuals with T2D.
About The Study
This research aims to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of a device called ReCET™ for improving blood sugar control in individuals with T2D. The study involves a procedure performed to treat the lining of the first part of the small intestines.
To take part in the study, participants should be:
- Diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes
- On 2–4 non-insulin glucose-lowering medications or take any one of the GLP-1 medications (Ozempic®, Mounjaro®,Victova®, or Saxenda®)
- A1C between 7.5% and 10.5%
- Not using insulin
What Is a Study?
- A clinical study helps advance the future of diabetes! Research patients try new meds or devices not yet available to the public, at no cost to them.
- Research patients meet with a study coordinator and doctor multiple times to monitor them.
- Each visit, patients are compensated for travel expenses.
- Study patients must meet a list of criteria in order to be a part of a study.
- A study can last anywhere from six months to a few years.
