New Study for those who are overweight but don't have Type 2 Diabetes
About The Study
This study is for individuals with Obesity or Overweight without Type 2 Diabetes. The purpose of the study is to determine if the study medication is safe and effective in reducing body weight. Participants will receive a once-weekly investigational injection of either the study medication or placebo. The study is testing three different doses of the medication: 7.5 mg, 12.5 mg, and 17.5 mg.
To take part in the study, participants should be:
- Age 18 years or older
- Does not have Type 2 Diabetes
- BMI greater than 27
- Willing, motivated, and able to complete trial procedures
What Is a Study?
- A clinical study helps advance the future of diabetes! Research patients try new meds or devices not yet available to the public, at no cost to them.
- Research patients meet with a study coordinator and doctor multiple times to monitor them.
- Each visit, patients are compensated for travel expenses.
- Study patients must meet a list of criteria in order to be a part of a study.
- A study can last anywhere from six months to a few years.
