New Type 2 Diabetes Study for BMI 27+ - Join Today
About The Study
This study is for those with Type 2 Diabetes and obesity or overweight. The purpose of this study is to test if an investigational medicine can safely reduce body weight. This medication is being developed to better control blood sugar levels and appetite. Participants will add a once daily pill of investigational medication or placebo during this study.
Participants will be reimbursed for their time and travel.
To take part in the study, participants should be:
- Between age 18 and 75 years old
- Have Type 2 Diabetes treated with diet and exercise alone or with a stable dose of metformin.
- Have an A1c between 7.0% and 10.0%
- Have a BMI of 27 or more
What Is a Study?
- A clinical study helps advance the future of diabetes! Research patients try new meds or devices not yet available to the public, at no cost to them.
- Research patients meet with a study coordinator and doctor multiple times to monitor them.
- Each visit, patients are compensated for travel expenses.
- Study patients must meet a list of criteria in order to be a part of a study.
- A study can last anywhere from six months to a few years.
