This study is for those with scarring of the liver due to MASH (metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis), also sometimes called “fatty liver.” Participants will add a once-weekly injection of an investigational medicine or placebo to their current medications. The purpose of the study is to see if this investigational medicine is safe and effective in order to be used as a new treatment for MASH.
