About the Study

We are conducting a study at Iowa Diabetes to investigate the effect of a new investigational drug in individuals with type 2 diabetes. The new investigational drug will be compared to a placebo. Your participation in this study can contribute to advancing type 2 diabetes treatment in the future.

Criteria to Qualify for the Study

Have Type 2 Diabetes for more than 180 days (6 months)
Take insulin once daily alone or in combination with metformin for 90 days prior to screening
Have a BMI of 25 kg/m2 or higher
Are 18 years or older
Not pregnant or planning to become pregnant
