About the Study
This study is for individuals who have Type 2 Diabetes and excess weight. Participants will add either an investigational once-daily pill or a placebo to their current diabetes treatment.
There is a 3 out of 5 chance of getting the investigational pill in this study.
The study will test how safe and well the investigational medicine works for blood glucose and weight management compared with placebo.
Participant Eligibility Criteria ( To take part in the study )
- Diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes
- A1C between 7.0% and 10.0%
- Taking only oral meds or no meds for diabetes
