Join Today – New Type 2 Diabetes Study for BMI 27+

About the Study

This study is for those with Type 2 Diabetes and obesity or overweight. The purpose of this study is to test if an investigational medicine can safely reduce body weight. This medication is being developed to better control blood sugar levels and appetite. Participants will add a once daily pill of investigational medication or placebo during this study.

Participants will be reimbursed for their time and travel.

Join the study if you meet the following requirements:

• Between age 18 and 75 years old 
• Have Type 2 Diabetes treated with diet and exercise alone or with a stable dose of metformin. 
• Have an A1c between 7.0% and 10.0% 
• Have a BMI of 27 or more
