About the Study

This study is for people who are overweight or have obesity with at least one weight-related health condition and do not have Type 2 Diabetes. People with prediabetes may be eligible. The study is testing an investigational once-weekly injection to see if it is safe and effective for weight reduction. Participants will continue their current medications and receive either the study medication or a placebo.

To take part in the study, participants should:

Be 18 years of age or older
Have a BMI over 27
Have an A1c below 9.0%
Have been taking the same dose of Wegovy, Ozempic, Mounjaro, or Zepbound for at least 4 months
Not have Type 2 Diabetes, or have had it for at least 6 months and are not on insulin.
